Stepping Into a Whole new Journey!

Welcome to the club of rejection and failure! The one thing which I used to do since my childhood was writing, so obviously the immense love I have for writing is beyond imagination but hold on when you build your career in the field of writing does it feel like you made the right choice because the person sitting in front of you don’t think so.

Getting rejected for the thing which I believe I was perfect literally anguished me. The whole world seems to be your enemy because there was only one thing which I was waiting for but nope, you’re still not selected. I literally had from a very casual interview to a very harsh one. The casual one made me realise that what is the importance of teamwork and how things can be achieved via teamwork but the harsh one made me realise that how you still need to work on yourself.

Being a fresher, everything was very new to me like how to sit, how to speak and even how to express yourself because you don’t know what may offend your interviewer. I’m still behind the race, feeling lonely, rejected and cornered by everyone. From my friends I just need that they should understand me, and guide me which they’re doing but still I’m not getting my mental peace. My family is in a total chill mode because they know one day I’ll make them proud but reaching that one day is so hard for me.

This phase created a self-doubt on my capabilities and potential which I know it shouldn’t be but at some point of time, you start feeling this. Questioning my worthiness and my strength is not what I should do.

What I know is never giving up, it is the part of my new life which is definitely going to make me feel strong and powerful. Everything has a reason so believe it and have some patience. Just trust the timing and your god because this time will also fly. Wish me luck!

Dowry and a helpless father!

From giving birth to handing over his little girl to someone who he thinks, will take care as same he used to do. Father is one of the most important and a backbone of a family, he is the one who takes all the pain and burden just for one smile of his children.

Being a girl is not easy because as you grow older and older you realise the society's norms and patriarchal thinking. You realise that if you have to be independent you have to earn your livelihood, but their also society holds you back.

You know, when a girl is born to a father, he is one of the most happiest people in the world but the second thought which comes to his mind is one day my little girl will get married. She will leave me that becomes the hardest goodbye.

But marriage is not easy as it looks, it is all about dowry and compromise. Just ask yourself, don’t you have the house, don’t you have money or don’t you have a car and even don’t you have furniture? Oh, maybe you don’t have all such stuff, that’s why you need this all but hold on what about your government job and rich background if you are so rich, you have a good govt job then what is the need of all this?

A boy’s profession decides the amount of dowry which is need to be given, the more reputed the profession is the more will be dowry given by the daughter’s father. Basically, it is moreover a compromise rather than a wedding. A father which literally earns day and night for his family has to think more about his daughters’ marriage.

Sometimes the demand from the grooms' side are so high that the father needs to take a loan from the bank and then purchase stuff demanded by them. This is the pain which father goes through and what is left out- a silence between father and daughter: because both understand that what is happening but no one can speak, why? because of social norms and rituals.

It is the tradition which is been followed by many states such as Bihar, Haryana, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh and many more. This really needs to stop, father be it a groom’s one or a bride’s one both have to be respected by parity. Whatever the father wants to give to his daughter it should be held up to his wish and capability. Strict actions and laws are needed to be implemented as still daughters are killed by her in-laws for not giving satisfactory dowry.

These are some really serious and pivotal issues which are required to be overviewed properly. Society needs to be more vocal about such issues other than political and religious fights. A famous line- “Achha to Len Den ki baat karle? Ji bataiye kitne ka hain apka Beta?”. If such problems will remain avoided then there are many helpless fathers in this country, stand up and speak up!

Unconditional Love!

Love, what is love? How you would define love? For me, love is the peace it is that beautiful feeling where you give your whole heart to someone. We unintentionally start expecting from our partner. When you love, you want to spend your whole life with that person. You can’t lose him/her but sometimes love is all meant to be incomplete.

The pain and anxiety that one goes through that are beyond imagination. I also loved someone in my life with my whole heart. Years by years, that person made me realise that I can’t be a part of his life anyway. What I wanted from him was the passion in his eyes for me but I never felt that or maybe he didn’t make me realise that. What hurt the most was as the time flew by, my love for him got more and more but I never get to know about him whether he also felt the same for me. Sometimes his silence kills me because I know he loves me but the way he behaves sometimes, literally I can’t express in words.

I never wanted bad for him, never cursed him but what I did was, pray for him every single day, which he never know at all. How can I want bad for him when I loved him so much. Losing you is the most difficult part of my life. Every day spent w
ith you had created a lot of memories. Maybe I’m not perfect for you, maybe you deserve better than me, maybe you never loved me or maybe I didn’t stand up to your wish and desires. I don’t know but what I knew is that I LOVE YOU today and forever!

I always tried to understand you, I always tried to help you in every sort of thing and what I wanted from you is just a little bit of care. Don’t you think I at least deserve some care? Maybe I’m wrong but BABY you really mean a lot to me. Your each word affects me, please always remember this. I can’t say goodbye to you ever in my life because that’s the hardest part to say to your favourite person, your love a GOODBYE!

Rape or is this a Rape culture!

Why do women, girls of the country feel that they are not safe and secure every time? Do you know why? The answer is that we as citizens never treated women like they should be treated. A girl in her teenager identifies the good touch and the bad touch, ever felt that how would it feel?

Rape has become such a so-called casual crime that everyone is fiddling with the women of our country. The orthodox thinking of people, narrow-minded concepts and the strange thing is that in many rape cases women are also involved. Women are not safe outside their house even many times it is also noticed that the person who does that unlawful act is a member of the victim’s family. Many incidents are not even lodged in the police station just because of what people will think, death threats etc. There are many cases such as Nirbhaya gang rape, Hathras case, Priyanka Reddy case, and the latest Kaur lady, just for once feel the pain which they go through.

According to the NCRB data, every 20 minutes, a woman is raped. The main reason behind such heinous crimes is the patriarchal society where men prevalent still exist, lack of police surveillance there are situations where the worst can be stopped but due to police negligence or the indifferent attitude of police leads to make that crime to happen at its worst, delaying in the judicial process- everyone knows that the Nirbhaya case run for 7 years in the Supreme Court, domestic violence, dowry are also the reason behind such crimes.

Now what can be done to stop such crimes, strict laws, and there is no space in jail for those who do that. Criminals should be given strict punishment like the death penalty, speeding up and solving their cases more swiftly as such bold steps are much needed so that people will think before attempting it. This is what law, what a government can do. But as a citizen of the country, it is the responsibility of every individual to treat everyone equally either in society or in the workplace where ever. Awareness and education are other very needed step to stop such violations. Sex education is a must for every student in their school which teachers very often skip which should not be done as it is for the children’s benefit only to know, to understand what is right and what is wrong.

In the end, this needs to be stopped. Every woman, girl, and daughter is very precious to this world, they are the beauty, and elegance, of society. They have the equal right to live freely, live happily and live fearlessly. Most importantly every woman should love the way God has given them birth they are immensely glorious.

Champawat had the lowest water tap supply which is 33,739. The Jal Shakti Ministry was made by merging Ministries of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation along with Drinking Water and Sanitation. The ministry will initiate the ‘Nal se Jal scheme to provide water connection to every household by 2024.

Uttarakhand is the state where natural calamities severely affect say heavy rainfall, cloud burst blocks the water pipeline which connects the rural villages of the state because of which development needs proper directional planning. The program was launched to empower and emphasize more towards the rural development including schools, Anganwadi, local hospitals etc
